DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LEH

Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The day is at leisure for you to acclimate to the high altitude of Leh, situated at 3500 meters above sea level. In the evening, explore Leh Bazaar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: EXPLORING LEH

Embark on a full-day excursion to Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. Witness the captivating morning “praying ceremony” at Thiksey monastery and explore the grandeur of Hemis, one of the largest monasteries in Leh. En route, visit Shey Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03: LEH – SPITUK – ALCHI – ULEYTOKPO (80 KM, 3 HOURS)

After breakfast, depart for Uletokpo camping, renowned for its scenic beauty in Ladakh. Along the way, visit Spituk Monastery and the unique Alchi monastery situated on flat ground. Arrive at Uletokpo by lunchtime and spend the evening by the river. Overnight stay at the camp.

DAY 04: ULEYTOKPO – LAMAYURU – LEH (180 KM, 6 HOURS)

Drive to Lamayuru via Khaltsi, visiting one of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries founded in the 10th Century. Return to Leh in the late afternoon for overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE

Early morning transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight.
